BULK WATER Services for Kermit, TX

Atlas Energy Solutions invested $400 million to construct the Dune Express, a 42-mile electric conveyor originating approximately ten miles northeast of Kermit that began commercial operations in early 2025 as the longest conveyor system in the United States, while Atlas's $450 million acquisition of Hi-Crush's Kermit Mine added approximately five million tons of annual frac sand production capacity alongside Iron Oak Energy's four large-scale Winkler County facilities and a new KingCo Energy mine, making the Kermit corridor the most concentrated frac sand mining and processing district in the country. With multi-sector mining, upstream, and facility construction programs simultaneously drawing from a local supply base that has limited spare capacity, operators arriving without a confirmed water partner face immediate sourcing constraints.
